With the consent of all present members the club elected as the President for the period 2013/2014 Karol Siska. Congratulations!

Klaus Pilz re-opened the discussion on the upcoming Rotary ball 2012 at the hotel Crown Plaza on the 4. of February 2012 and due to the on-going discussion around this ball invited the board to a board meeting on the 14.11.2011 starting at 17:00 in the hotel Arcadia.

An invitation was sent out regarding the annual Annual Convention of Rotary International 2013 - Lisbon. The registration period starts as of 6. of May 2012. Further details for  this event will follow in early spring next year.

Mikos Kmety also informed us that from the period 204/2015 there shall be a possibility to elect the District governor for the district by voting. However, the qualification for this position are quite narrow  (Slovak citizen, Assistant governor with experience more than 10 years, etc.). For more details please refer to Milos.

Bodo Hauswald informed us about the lecture of the agricultural minister on Food Control in Slovakia to be hold on the 21.11.2011 in our club premises of the hotel Arcadia. As this event is limited to approximately 60 attendees please make your reservation in time! The speech will be in Slovak, finger food and soft drinks will be served. Meanwhile, a written invitation has also been sent out separately by Bodo.
