On August 5th, 2023, we had the privilege of spending a rainy day with the children from Sedloňov Children's Home. Despite the weather forcing us indoors, we made sure the children had an unforgettable experience.
We kicked off the day with an exciting round of treasure hunts (šifry), followed by a lively table tennis tournament and board games galore. The children were delighted as they indulged in these indoor adventures, and to sweeten the day, we treated them to some delicious goodies.
Rotaract Hradec Králové joined organisation Děti v akci on August 5th, while Děti v akci had been with the children for an incredible three days, from Friday through Sunday. Their unwavering commitment to making this event special for the kids was truly heartwarming.
In the end, it was a day filled with laughter and joy, proving that even unexpected rain couldn't dampen the spirits of these remarkable children and our enthusiastic volunteers. We look forward to creating more cherished memories with them in the future.
