Upcycling Workshop: Learn & Be Creative

On November 18, 2025, we hosted an Upcycling Workshop - an interactive event dedicated to turning old or unused materials into something new and valuable. The workshop was a collaborative effort between Rotaract Hradec Králové, Trash Hero Hradec Králové, RECY UPCY, and ESN Hradec Králové - each bringing their own passion for sustainability and community engagement.

The evening kicked off with a short presentation on the principles and possibilities of upcycling, exploring how everyday items that would otherwise end up as waste can be given a second life. After the introduction, participants rolled up their sleeves and put theory into practice by creating their own linocut prints using upcycled materials.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and embraced the creative process. Events like these show that sustainability can be hands-on, fun, and community-driven.
