Memorandum of Partnership
between
District 1880 (North-East Bavaria + Saxonia) and District 2240
(Czech Republic and Slovakia)
Purpose:
This Memorandum of Partnership is entered into by District 1880 (North-East Bavaria +
Saxonia) and District 2240 (Czech Republic and Slovakia) with the aim of promoting
international understanding, strengthening goodwill, and supporting international service.
Parties to the Memorandum:
1. District 1880: North-East Bavaria + Saxonia
2. District 2240: Czech Republic and Slovakia
Term of the Partnership:
This partnership shall take effect upon signing and will remain in force as long as both parties
find the cooperation beneficial or until officially terminated.
Core Principles of Cooperation:
1. International Understanding: The partners will work towards fostering intercultural
dialogue and mutual respect between the people of Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
2. Fostering Goodwill: Joint events, programs, and projects that emphasize the
importance of kindness and solidarity will be conducted in both districts.
3. International Service: The partners will encourage the development of projects aimed
at supporting communities in various countries, including charitable initiatives, healthcare
assistance, education, and other humanitarian efforts.
4. Sharing Experiences and Knowledge: Both districts commit to sharing experiences,
best practices, and actively involving members of both districts in joint projects.
5. Peace and Understanding Support: The districts will jointly support initiatives aimed
at promoting peace, human rights, and social equality in the region.
Key Areas of Cooperation:
1. Joint participation in international conferences and forums.
2. Organizing charitable and volunteer events to support communities.
3. Developing educational programs and facilitating student and youth exchange
between countries.
4. Supporting joint projects focused on environmental sustainability, healthcare, and
assisting vulnerable groups.
Signatures:
This memorandum is signed by District Governors 2024-2025 of both districts, affirming their
intent to fulfill the obligations outlined above.
