Návšteva dediny, kde sa narodila moja babička z otcovej  strany, Jakubola Voľa, bola úžasná.  RC Prešov, starosta obce Jakubova Voľa, miestny súbor ľudových tradícií, genealóg Martin Rázus, obyvatelia obce, DG Katarína Čechová, ako aj členovia mojej rozvetvenej rodiny (s ktorými som sa dnes stretla po prvýkrát) mi pripravili zážitok, na ktorý nikdy nezabudnem. Ten deň bol skutočným príkladom čara Rotary.... skvelí priatelia, skvelé jedlo, výborné piesne a tance, skvelé stretnutie rodinných príslušníkov a rodiny členov Rotary.... všetko vďaka Rotary.

The visit to Jakubova Voľa, the village where my paternal grandmother was born, was truly amazing. The event, organized by RC Prešov, featured a warm welcome from the Mayor of Jakubova Voľa, a delightful performance by the local folk traditions group, and the invaluable contributions of genealogist Martin Rázus. The village residents, DG Katarína Čechová, and members of my extended family - whom I met for the first time - created an experience I will never forget. That day was a shining example of the magic of Rotary: great friends, great food, wonderful songs and dances, and a joyous gathering of family and Rotary members alike — all thanks to Rotary.
