„Vedeme vlastním příkladem“ / „We lead by example“
Náš klub vznikl odštěpením části členů Rotary Clubu Prague International pod vedením Marie Jehličkové, naší zakladatelky a zároveň současné prezidentky International Golf Fellowship of Rotarians Europe, z.s. Její vize vytvořit menší, přátelsky laděný klub s důrazem na vztahy, důvěru a konkrétní pomoc vedla k založení satelitního klubu RC Telč - Rotary Club Prague Golf – Non Golfers Welcome (RCPG/NGW).
Přestože má klub v názvu „Golf“, jsme otevření všem – golfistům i negolfistům – kteří sdílejí naše hodnoty a chuť pomáhat. Věříme, že jen v atmosféře vzájemného respektu a otevřenosti lze dlouhodobě rozvíjet kvalitní projekty i osobní vazby.
Naší prioritou je pomoc potřebným, především dětem, které vnímáme jako budoucnost naší společnosti. Podporujeme projekty, které mají konkrétní dopad a umožňují přímou zpětnou vazbu od těch, kterým pomáháme.
Scházíme se dvakrát měsíčně na obědových setkáních v inspirativních prostorách Obecního domu v centru Prahy, které kombinují reprezentativní prostředí s dostupností a výbornou kulinářskou úrovní. Parkování je možné v podzemních garážích OC Palladium.
Věříme v sílu komunity, otevřené komunikace a skutečného lidského kontaktu. Rádi Vás přivítáme na naší pravidelné schůzce!
About Us
Our club was founded when a group of members split off from Rotary Club Prague International, initiated by Marie Jehličková, our founder and current President of the International Golf Fellowship of Rotarians Europe. Her vision was to create a smaller, friendly club focused on strong relationships, trust, and meaningful support, which led to the establishment of a satellite club RC Telč —Rotary Prague Golf—Non-golfers Welcome (RCPG/NGW).
Although our name includes the word “Golf,” we welcome both golfers and non-golfers who share our values and desire to help others. We believe that meaningful projects and personal connections can flourish only in an atmosphere of mutual respect and openness.
Our main priority is helping those in need, especially children, whom we see as the future of our society. We support projects that have a tangible impact and allow for direct feedback from those we serve.
We meet twice a month for lunch in the inspiring setting of the Municipal House in the centre of Prague, which offers a combination of elegant atmosphere, great accessibility, and excellent cuisine. Parking is available in the underground garages of the Palladium shopping centre.
We believe in the power of community, open communication, and genuine human connection. We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our regular meetings!
