Yesterday you received our District Newsletter No. 26. Unfortunately, due to an oversight, three important contributions from the Rotary Clubs of Rožňava, Spišská Nová Ves, and Martin, as well as information from the International Rotary Ski Fellowship, were missing from previous issues.
On behalf of the entire editorial team, I sincerely apologize to the clubs and the International Rotary Ski Fellowship. We are now publishing these contributions in today’s special edition. At the same time, I would like to remind all contributors to kindly send their submissions exclusively to the members of the D2240 editorial team, and not to news@rotary2240.org, which serves only for feedback and comments on already published issues.

A joint initiative of Rotary clubs from Eastern Slovakia has brought new life to the Betliar Manor Park. By planting four tulip trees, Rotarians not only contributed to the restoration of the park damaged by a calamity but also symbolically celebrated important Rotary anniversaries.
In March, members of Rotary and Rotaract Club Martin had a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of Uganda while supporting an important educational project of the local Rotaract Club Kampala South. The visit brought not only unforgettable experiences but also new friendships and ideas for future cooperation.
Rotarians from around the world enjoyed a unique ski week in Bulgaria and are already looking forward to the next gatherings in Austria, Japan, and Canada.
