On Friday, 3rd May, a group of sports enthusiasts gathered with one goal – to enjoy a sport/cultural weekend in the company of Rotarians from D2240.
The event was organised by RC Valtice-Břeclav, the main organizer was Jaroslav Benda, who deserves a big thank you for the perfectly prepared program and facilities.
On the first day, we cycled 50 km on the route around the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. The second day followed with 47 km along the wine trails of the Blue Slopes. Every day, there was a wonderful refreshment prepared for us, for which we want to thank Naďa (Jaroslav’s wife). All of us spent the evenings in the wine cellar U Bendů with glasses of delicious wines and a variety of food plates.
We would like to thank all participants from RC Hradec Králové, Cheb, Třebíč, Valtice-Břeclav, and Znojmo. And of course, Inner Wheel Moravia.
We are looking forward to the next stage of Biketour 2024, which will take place in Hradec Králové from 31st May to 2nd June.
