A project co-funded by the Global Grant must meet the following conditions:

• fall within one of the above-mentioned areas,
• have a long-term and sustainable objective,
• the minimum budget must be $30,000, and at least 15% of the budget must not originate from the country where the project is being implemented. It is possible to use DDFs, of which 80% are matched by the Foundation,
• matched contributions to the Rotary Foundation for the periods in question, 
• address important needs in line with local community requirements,
• strengthen the capacity of the community to address its own needs.
