Invitation to a Special Gathering at Hradčany Square in Prague – June 10, 2025

Dear Friends and Fellow Rotarians,

Come enjoy a pleasant evening at the garden terrace of the U Pivrnce restaurant on Hradčany Square in Prague. A delicious dinner and an engaging cultural program await you.

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM, Rotary Club Prague Golf / New Generations West, together with Ms. Svetlana Kalousková, Director of the Josef Kalousek Gallery in Hradčany, have prepared a truly special evening featuring a distinguished guest: Mr. Pavel Kosatík – a celebrated writer, essayist, historical researcher, and screenwriter of the acclaimed TV series Czech Century (České století).

Mr. Kosatík will deliver a lecture comparing life in Czechoslovakia during the 1920s and 1930s with the current Czech Republic after the division of Czechoslovakia in 1993.

Following the lecture and visit to the Josef Kalousek Gallery, all guests are invited to dinner at U Pivrnce restaurant.

All proceeds from this event will be donated toward the purchase of a pottery wheel for the children’s psychiatric ward.
