Dear Rotary friends and supporters of RC Valtice - Břeclav,
RC Valtice - Břeclav is pleased to invite you to the 20th edition of the social-sporting event "By Bicycle or on Foot around the LVA" (LVA = Lednice-Valtice Area).
The event will take place from 23rd to 25th May 2025 in the beautiful surroundings of the Lednice-Valtice Area and the Blue Hills, along the wine cycling routes around Velké Pavlovice. This year, we are also excited to include the "2nd edition of the district project CYKLOTOUR 2025 Rotary Club."
The route for cyclists will be along the cycling paths and forest roads of the LVA and the Velkopavlovice wine region.
As part of the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the results of many generations of viticultural breeders and to taste the fruits of their labour directly in the vineyards where the grapes grow.
Traditionally, we will offer you gastronomic experiences in the cellar accompanied by a tasting of excellent Moravian wines. During the two evenings, there will be auctions of outstanding Moravian wines that have been awarded at prestigious exhibitions both domestically and abroad, as well as archival wines from the cellars of significant regional wineries. The proceeds from the wine auction will be used to support the Diakonie ČCE - Betlém Centre in the implementation of the project "Co-financing respite services in the modernised Odstrčil Villa in Klobouky near Brno." https://betlem.diakonie.cz/sluzba-oj/odlehcovaci-sluzba-odstrcilova-vila/
To ensure the successful and quality preparation of the event, it is necessary to send a binding registration in advance. Therefore, we kindly ask you to send your registration along with the number of friends and partners from your club who will be attending. Please submit your binding registration no later than 19th May 2025.
For those interested, a bonus cycling trip through the captivating landscape of the "LVA" will be organised on Friday, 23rd May 2025, for those who register with the organiser, Jaroslav Benda, by 19th May 2025.
