Dear Rotary friends and golfers,

I am delighted to inform you about several exciting international golf events taking place this year.

I believe that many of you will attend at least some of them and once again experience the unique atmosphere of Rotary events - this time in a social-sporting context.

For our members who are golfers (as well as guests), the most important event, which will be held for the first time in our district, is:

1. The European Rotary Golf Championship from 30th June to 5th July 2025.

The organization is being managed by the Rotary Club Bratislava International, with the organizing committee led by Katarína Čechová, IPDG. We will be playing at the Kaskáda and Slavkov golf courses. The closing ceremony will take place in the beautifully renovated castle in Slavkov…

Let’s not miss this significant event and show our support for the organizers through our participation.

The event will host 150 golfers and guests from all over Europe, with a rich programme ensuring plenty of fun.

2. From 1st to 8th November 2025, the Rotary World Golf Championship will take place, this time at courses around the historic city of Hyderabad.

3. Starting this year, you will find information about golf tournaments in various European countries on the webpage of the European Golfing Fellowship. You are already invited to Austria and Switzerland.

4. Please remember to reserve 23rd May 2025 for the final tournament to loan the governor’s jacket in Beroun. Other tournaments will be announced by the new golfing fellowship chair, Jirka Bureš from RC Most.
