FOUNDATION - application submission deadline
Project Characteristics
- Humanitarian, social, or educational purposes.
- A variety of projects is preferred; applications for ongoing support of the same project are discouraged.
- The project must respect the interests and needs of the community and comply with the legal regulations and principles of The Rotary Foundation.
- 1 club = 1 project.
Club Conditions
A Rotary club or Rotaract club applying for a grant from the DDF for a district project must be qualified in accordance with the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding).
- The club should have a designated permanent member for the Rotary Foundation reported to the district (3-5 years).
- This designated member or a nominated club representative must complete district training – Foundation seminar.
- The club must sign the MOU.
- The club must have settled all obligations to the district and RI.
- The club contributes a minimum of $35 USD/member (33 EUR/member) to the Annual Fund Share for the past 3 years (assessed as of 31st January of the year of application).
- The project must not be aimed solely at benefiting one individual or a few individuals and must not provide an advantage to any Rotarian, club, or district.
