Dear Rotarians and Friends of Rotary,
As spring gently awakens the world around us and Easter draws near, I wish you moments of peace and joy — filled with hope, inspiration, and the warmth of being together with those you care about most.
This April edition of our Rotary Newsletter brings many uplifting stories and invitations to meaningful events. At the heart of it all is our District Conference, which will take place on May 16–17, 2025, in Ostrava. This special gathering of Rotarians from across our district is a wonderful chance to share ideas, strengthen friendships, and celebrate our shared spirit of service. Don’t miss this opportunity — we look forward to seeing you there!
We also send our warmest congratulations to the Rotary Club Košice Classic, celebrating its 15th anniversary on May 22. Your dedication and lasting impact in the community are truly inspiring. Here's to many more successful years ahead!
In this issue, you’ll also find news about upcoming concerts, environmental and educational projects, club anniversaries, and charitable events. And of course, updates from our youth and Rotaract — a reminder that the future of Rotary is bright and full of promise.
Thank you to everyone who helped create this edition. As always, we welcome your ideas, stories, and photos at news@rotary2240.org.
Wishing you a pleasant read — and a beautiful Easter full of renewal and light.

"On the 1st of january, I moved family.
I was very afraid because school would be farther than it was before, and my last family was so good that I was sad when I discovered that i’d change. However, I met my new family in november and then I moved in January, this meeting helped me a lot!! When the time had come, I wasn’t afraid anymore and I was excited to begin a new experience."
