Rotary Club Valtice - Břeclav would like to invite you to the 21st edition of the social, sporting and sightseeing event “By bicycle or on foot around the LVA” (LVA = the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape).
The event will take place on 22-24 May 2026 in the beautiful surroundings of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape (LVA) and the Modré Hory (Blue Mountains) area, along wine cycling routes in the vicinity of Velké Pavlovice and—new this year—within the framework of the “3rd edition of the district project CYKLOTOUR 2025 Rotary Club.”
The cyclists’ route will follow cycle paths and forest tracks in the LVA and the Velké Pavlovice wine sub-region.
The event will include an introduction to the achievements of many generations of wine-grape breeders, as well as tastings of the results of their expertise directly in the vineyards where the vines bear fruit.
As is tradition, we will offer you gastronomic experiences in a wine cellar combined with a tasting of excellent Moravian wines. Over the course of two evenings, AUCTIONS will be held of outstanding Moravian wines that have won awards at prestigious exhibitions at home and abroad, as well as vintage wines from the archives of leading regional wineries. The proceeds from the wine auction will be used to support Diakonie of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren (ČCE) - Betlém Centre in delivering the project “Therapeutic Garden for JOY.”
For the successful and high-quality preparation of the event, it is necessary to submit a binding registration in advance. We therefore ask you to send your registration, stating how many friends (with partners) from your club will be attending. Please send the binding registration no later than 18 May 2026 (18/05/2026).
For those interested who register with the organiser, Jaroslav Benda, by 18 May 2025, a bonus cycling trip through the captivating “LVA” landscape will take place on Friday, 22 May 2026.
