We have taken up the baton
Dear Rotarians,
our district newsletter continues. Governor Ivana Lengová has appointed a new editorial board, which I have the honour to lead. Its members are Zuzana Bednářová (RC Olomouc City), René Stern (RC Dunajská Streda), Hleb Tkachenko (RC Prague International) and Katarína Khosravi (RC Prague International). We sincerely thank the Governor for her trust.
A big thank-you goes to the newsletter’s founder and former editor-in-chief, PDG Katarína Čechová, and to Mária Smrčková for all the time, work and heart they have given to the newsletter. Thanks to them, we have a strong foundation to build on.
This issue is a first step. We are preparing further changes to the newsletter and will introduce them gradually – also in line with the district’s communication strategy. We will keep you informed about the details.
Our aim is to publish the newsletter at least once a month. Please send all suggestions for articles exclusively to news@rotary2240.org. Every suggestion you send us will be published.
We look forward to your contributions – news from clubs, projects, invitations and experiences – and we hope the autumn stays as beautiful as it was at the district leadership meeting in Zaječí, where the cover photo was taken.
Yours in Rotary,
Radúz Dula
Editor-in-Chief, D2240 Newsletter
