56 players took part in the 19th Rotary International Charity Golf Tournament at Tri Duby Golf Resort Sliač, organised by RC Nitra and RC Banská Bystrica. The proceeds from the entry fees will support the two clubs' charitable projects.
Sliač, 26 September 2026 – The 19th edition of the traditional Rotary International Championship – Charity Golf Tournament took place at the Tri Duby Golf Resort Sliač course, jointly organised by Rotary Club Nitra and Rotary Club Banská Bystrica.
In pleasant autumn weather, 56 players took part. The sporting competition was accompanied by the traditional friendly atmosphere, which made room not only for golf but also for meetings, new contacts and informal conversations between Rotarians and the other participants.
Competing in three categories
Players competed in three handicap categories based on net Stableford points. The top three players in each category received prizes.
Category A – HCP 0–18.4
Category B – HCP 18.5–26.4
Category C – HCP 26.5–54
Golf, friendship and helping others
The charitable dimension remains an integral part of the tournament. The proceeds from the entry fees will be used to support charitable projects of Rotary Club Nitra and Rotary Club Banská Bystrica.
The tournament once again brought together three values that are characteristic of Rotary – friendship, sport and service. It also created an opportunity for new contacts between Rotarians from different clubs, and between Rotary and players who are not yet Rotary members.
Informal gatherings like this are a chance to introduce Rotary to more people and to show that service to the community can go hand in hand with friendship, sport and shared experiences.
We thank all the players, organisers, partners and supporters who contributed to the success of the 19th edition.
We are already looking forward to the jubilee 20th Rotary International Championship!
