Tales from the Frozen North

Viktor Gratza, sponsored by the Rotary club Opava and hosted by the otary Club of Timmins-Porcupine, Rotary District 7010 Youth Exchange, Canada, shares his experience with us:

When I first learned that I'd be visiting Calgary over spring break, I wasn't particularly thrilled. After all, it's just another city within a city, isn't it? But I soon discovered it was much more than that.

During some online exploration, I stumbled upon Banff, a place that felt oddly familiar. That's when it clicked. This national park had played a significant role in my decision to choose Canada for my exchange year. To my surprise, I found videos and photos of this very national park, taken 2-3 years ago, stored in my gallery and on my Instagram. Who would have thought?

This ties into another important life lesson I've learned here: nothing is unattainable if you stay true to your path. I've put this lesson into practice and it's proven true for me. So believe in yourself and go for it!
