Orientation Meeting II. for students going abroad in the 2025/26 school year.
This orientation is crucial for students preparing for their long-term exchange and will provide essential information for the upcoming year abroad.
Participants: All students – candidates for the long-term exchange in the 2025/26 school year from District 2240 who will be going abroad through RYE CZ, YEOs from all clubs cooperating with RYE CZ, officials of Rotary Youth Exchange Czechia, z.ú., and representatives of ROTEX.

Participants will make their own way from the train or bus station to the Youth Hostel, where Rotex members will be waiting for them.

Departure: Sunday, 24th November 2024, after 11:15.

19:00 – 23:00 Introduction of participants, English written test, ice-breaking evening, team-building activities (RYE CZ, ROTEX)

7:45 – 8:00 Opening of interviews, group division
8:00 – 13:00 Individual interviews with outbound students in committees – Round I (RYE CZ&SK, Rotex, and others)
8:00 – 13:00 Students before and after their individual interview will have an organised programme in the social room (ROTEX)
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14:00 – 14:30 Opening of the afternoon session
14:30 – 16:30 Individual interviews with selected outbound students in the committee – Round II (RYE CZ)
14:30 – 16:30 Presentation on exchange programmes, cultural shock through examples from well-known films (ROTEX)
16:30 – 18:30 Group and individual discussions on students' preferred countries and other exchange-related questions, organised programme for students (RYE CZ, ROTEX) – Part 1
18:30 – 19:30 Dinner
