On 3 November 2024, OM I took place in Třebíč

not only parents were satisfied

On Sunday, 3 November, the first Orientation Meeting (OM I) took place in Třebíč for students interested in long-term exchange programs for 2025/2026. The event gathered 65 students, 93 parents, and 14 representatives from Rotex and Rotary who organized the meeting. For the first time, RYE-CZ handled the meeting independently, with Slovak clubs managing their programs through RYE-SK n.o., except for RC Poprad, which continues collaborating with the Czech branch.

The purpose of OM I was to provide students and parents with essential information about long-term stays abroad. Additionally, they had the chance to receive valuable advice and insights from current inbound students, Rotex members, returned students, and host families.

During the presentations, students and parents had the chance to respond and ask questions about topics of interest. After the official programme ended, both students and parents were keen to get individual information, gathering around the RYE CZ director, Mirek Barák, and the Rotex members for additional insights.

For continuity, OM II will take place in Kroměříž from 22–24 November 2024, exclusively for students.

The positive feedback from parents reflects the high standard of youth services provided.

"Hello, we would like to thank you for yesterday's Orientation Meeting. It was professionally organised with a well-structured programme, providing a wealth of new informations. Thank you very much."
