From November 25 to 29, 2024, our district will host the Rotary International President Elect (RIPE) Mário César Martins de Camargo. His visit includes discussions and meetings to outline his vision and priorities for his rotary year.

According to the information provided by DG Josef Melecký on the last District Executive Board, RIPE Mário César Martins de Camargo will visit our district in two phases: in the Czech Republic (November 25–27) and Slovakia (November 28–29). The first days of his visit will involve meetings with several Prague-based Rotary clubs. On November 27, he will attend a joint meeting of all Ostrava-area Rotary clubs, including RC Frýdek-Místek and Kopřivnice. The following day, a reception with the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Mayor of Ostrava is scheduled.

In Slovakia, he will visit RC Martin on November 28 to participate in a Thanksgiving Day celebration.
