For many years, there has been a tradition of selling Rotary punch at the Znojmo Advent markets. The year 2024 was no exception. The punch, which helps, was once again sold by both club members and their friends and volunteers. They deserve a heartfelt thank you for that!

The proceeds from the punch will once again go to support commendable activities and those in need. A portion will traditionally be given to the Friends of the Children of the Children's Home association for their usual activities. We will also continue to support the rehabilitation of Lukáš Kleban, who is making great progress in his recovery from tick-borne meningoencephalitis. This year, we will additionally support twelve-year-old Kamila Čulenová. Like Lukáš, she also suffered a serious illness at the age of two and became paralysed. She bravely fights against her fate and, despite her handicap, is a promising arm wrestler. Kamila also hopes to one day stand on her own two feet, and for that, she needs special rehabilitation. Support is also deserved by Kruh Znojmo, a centre for health services for children, which provides palliative care for the youngest children, among other services.

"I would like to wholeheartedly thank all the volunteers who dedicated their free time to selling punch. And of course, a big thank you to all the customers and supporters. Without them, it simply wouldn't be possible," said the club president, Vojta Jaroš.

Special thanks go to SOŠ Znojmo, Dvořákova, for preparing the excellent punch, and to the City of Znojmo for providing the sales location. A special thank you also goes to Stanislav Štětkař, a winemaker from Drnholec, who has generously supplied us with wine for the punch for several years.
