Dear friends,

We have received an offer for a partnership with District 3055 in India. This district covers half of the state of Gujarat, including the capital city Ahmedabad, the city of Bhuj, the desert region of Kutch near the western border with Pakistan, and the western part of the state of Rajasthan, including the cities of Jalore, Barmer, and Jaisalmer, also near the border with Pakistan. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=550668564612139&set=pcb.550668661278796.

The partnership involves an exchange of delegations between the two districts. In India, visits are only feasible during the 1st or 4th quarter of the year due to climate conditions. For our district, visits can be arranged in the 2nd or 3rd quarter upon mutual agreement. On the Indian side, the main organizer will be Mr. Bhanu Gupta, whom some of you, including myself, have had the pleasure of traveling with on past trips under the name Incredible India Tour.

Our Indian friends are ready to host our delegation as early as the 1st quarter of 2025. Postponing the visit to early 2026 is, of course, also an option.
