We Have Lost an Exceptional Rotarian and Professional – Blanka Schellingová

The Rotary community in Slovakia has lost a remarkable personality. On 10 December 2025, PhDr. Blanka Schellingová, a long-standing member of the Rotary Club Bratislava Danube, respected professional in executive search and leadership consulting, and a woman who naturally embodied the values of service, integrity and professionalism, passed away.

With deep respect, we remember the life and work of PhDr. Blanka Schellingová, who was for many of us not only a fellow Rotarian and colleague, but also an inspiration and a natural authority.

Blanka Schellingová was a highly regarded expert in executive search, leadership consulting and coaching, with more than 25 years of experience in an international environment. In 2000, she co-founded Arthur Hunt Slovakia, which she led for many years as Managing Partner. Throughout her professional career, she worked closely with top management of major Slovak and international companies and was known for her precision, high ethical standards and distinctly human approach.

She graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, earning the degree PhDr., and further expanded her professional qualifications by completing the internationally recognised coaching programme The Art & Science of Coaching. She had a rare ability to combine deep professional expertise with empathy, attentive listening and genuine support for the growth of others.

As a member of the Rotary Club Bratislava Danube, she was an active part of club life and consistently shared Rotary’s core values – service above self, fellowship, professionalism and responsibility towards society. Through her calm demeanour, thoughtful contributions and cultivated presence, she naturally enriched the club and strengthened the spirit of the Rotary community.

The passing of Blanka Schellingová represents a significant loss for our Rotary family. She leaves behind a legacy of professional excellence, personal integrity and human dignity that will remain with us and be remembered with lasting respect.
