Although Senium already has beautiful natural spaces and a garden, we wanted to add something special—something that would bring even more colours and fragrances to the daily lives of Senium's residents. Therefore, with the support of Gardenista, we decided to create raised flower beds filled with spring flowers such as tulips, daffodils, irises, and hyacinths, which will bloom in spring and create a stunning colourful space for relaxation and joy.

In addition, we planted aromatic herbs such as rosemary, thyme, chives, and lavender, which will not only beautify the garden but also fill the space with a pleasant fragrance throughout the year. The residents of Senium will be able to use these herbs to season their meals or simply to delight their senses.

We also helped move picnic tables and planted ornamental grasses around them to give the residents a sense of privacy and tranquility. We hope this will create a cozier place for them to spend time outdoors, where they can sit with friends and family.

We Rotaractors painted and prepared the pots, and together with the Gardenista team, we filled them and then planted the bulbs and herbs. Our goal was to create a space for seniors that not only beautifies their surroundings but also has a positive impact on their mood and overall comfort. We wanted the raised beds to be more accessible for elderly residents interested in gardening, as traditional beds can be too challenging for them to reach. We believe these colourful and fragrant flowers will benefit the residents of Senium not only aesthetically but also therapeutically, fostering their connection to nature and promoting their health.

We are delighted that this project has been highly appreciated not only by the director and management of Senium but also by the clients. They mentioned that they are already looking forward to the spring flowers and promised to come and water and check the flower beds regularly.
