RC Košice Classic Charity Dinner Featuring No Name Concert

On October 3, 2024, the Rotary Club Košice Classic held a benefit dinner in Košice, blending music and charity. The evening, highlighted by a concert from the popular band No Name, was dedicated to supporting the Rubikon Autism Centre and other charitable projects.

This year, the event reached new heights thanks to the concert by the renowned band No Name, whose performance brought emotion and excitement to the evening's atmosphere. The charity dinner united not only Slovak clubs but also international ones, adding a stronger global dimension to the event.

The main goal was to raise funds for various projects regularly supported by the Rotary Club Košice Classic. A pivotal moment of the evening was the charity auction, with the majority of the funds raised going to the Rubikon Autism Centre, which has long provided care for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders. The contributions from this event will help the centre expand its services and enhance the care provided to its clients. Additionally, a portion of the funds will be used to support the renovation of St. Stephen the King Church in Domáš, which was preserved during the construction of a nearby water reservoir. Funds will also go toward various club initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in Košice and the surrounding areas.

The benefit dinner was not only a celebration of music and philanthropy but also a testament to the power of collective effort. The Rotary Club Košice Classic continues to demonstrate that philanthropy and helping others should be woven into daily life. The club president highlighted that events like these raise awareness of solidarity and social responsibility. Thanks to the sponsors, auction participants, and of course, No Name, an unforgettable evening was created.

The club is already planning the next edition, with a vision to continue organizing events that unite people with a passion for supporting worthy causes. Once again, Košice is showing itself as a city where generosity and the willingness to help others have a lasting home.
